Right at the top of the list is of course accommodation that is suitable for wheelchairs, making your stay pleasant and safe. In kerii we have designed our barrier-free rooms on levels 1 and 2 in such a way that they are both functional and really cosy. Handles in the bathroom and plenty of space to manoeuvre are a matter of course for us, and in the planning, we also emphasised these ideas. Indeed, the best thing is that our rooms which are suitable for wheelchairs don’t cost any more than any of the other rooms here in kerii – why should they? Genuinely relaxed - wellness with and without a wheelchair

‘If we ourselves were wheelchair users, what would it feel like to be able to move about without restriction, in the pool at least, and what would we want from a really lovely time-out’, were among our considerations. ‘How do we arrange the sauna?’ was another question when we were planning our roof garden on level 3. Today, the wheelchair-ready pool lift enables you to enjoy easy access to our heated 15-metre outdoor pool. The lift was developed by einfachschwimmen.com and is so practical and discreet – perfect for relaxing swimming while enjoying the finest views to the mountains all around. The barrier-free sauna too has no thresholds, offers plenty of space so you can wholly concentrate on your own relaxation.

Wheelchair-suitable hotel: genuine freedom of movement, throughout the hotel

Another especially important criterium for us was to design the hotel in a way that was barrier-free in its entirety and for it to feel that afterwards too. Here with us in kerii, freedom from barriers is in no way a bonus feature, it quite simply comes as standard. At first glance it is barely perceptible, but here with us you will come across numerous structural measures which ease our guests’ path to a pleasure-filled time out. The hotel entrance is wheelchair-suitable, various ramps, a lift and the barrier-free toilets ensure that you too can move about freely here with us at any time, and will feel well taken care of. We genuinely have done everything to make your time comfortable and stress-free – and if you notice something, or something is missing, we would of course be delighted if you were to let us know.

Feasting at omii: How nice is that?

Your holiday is simply not complete without good food – and the best place to enjoy just that is in omii, the hotel’s own restaurant on level 0. Here you won’t just be delighted with really great feasts, omii has of course also been designed as a wheelchair-ready restaurant. Omii’s angels – our staff – are so happy to help you with anything you need. Our digital menu provides a wide range of meals that you might well remember your own grandma making, and haven’t enjoyed for so long. You will find hearty starters, pizza and sweet desserts to share along with home-made lemonade, or something special from Ralph and his excellent bar skills.
