Above all else, enjoying a holiday stay when you have restricted mobility should be uncomplicated and safe. Free from barriers, and always providing enough space for you to be able to freely unfurl, every which way you want to. With that in mind, we, together with our partners, have surpassed ourselves in the planning of our lively little project and have designed the entire hotel – from basement to under the roof – in a way which is free of barriers. For people who have difficult circumstances to deal with. For greater understanding and genuine encounters as equals.

Barrier-free rooms

How do you live in a barrier-free way that is not to the detriment of aesthetics and comfort? We asked ourselves extensive questions about this matter when it came to designing our barrier-free rooms. You can see what we came up with for yourself. Pool lift in the roof-top garden

A wheelchair lift with no gearing mechanism and no motor, which is still unbeatable in terms of functionality and barely noticeable. In einfachschwimmen.com we found a partner who implemented our plan with us to the letter, making our heated 15 metre outdoor pool accessible for people who use a wheelchair too. We would be happy to show you how our pool lift works.

Sauna on one level

No door thresholds, plenty of room to move about and a really cool view. Indeed, in our sauna in the roof-top garden you really do get to enjoy a barrier-free sauna session. Access to the showers and WC, the relaxation room and outdoors are of course barrier-free in our rooftop garden too.

Ramps and Access points

If the hotel were to be built again from scratch, barrier-free access would not be an issue, rather, it would just be a matter of course. At least that is how it would be for us. At first glance the various ramps, access points and of course the lift for people who have mobility issues are barely perceptible, but they really do help make it easy for everyone to get around and enjoy a pleasure-filled time-out.

Barrier-free toilets

From the ground floor, up to the roof top – as a kerii guest you will find barrier-free toilets throughout the hotel, which are also in part barrier-free from a social aspect too, in that access to them is shared with other guests. That’s why it is so easy for people to meet as equals here.
